Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.71%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG), which rose 5.70% or 19.40 points to trade at 359.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) added 5.52% or 4.46 points to end at 85.30 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was up 3.29% or 18.20 points to 571.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 1.29% or 1.98 points to trade at 151.70 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 0.49% or 4.20 points to end at 846.40 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 0.43% or 9.00 points to 2,080.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 74 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.29% or 1.98 to 151.70. Shares in Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 0.49% or 4.20 to 846.40.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.09% or 2.15 to $100.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.13% or 2.26 to hit $103.68 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.83% or 15.49 to trade at $1,843.11 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.22% to 7.06, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.07% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 103.89.
