Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 3.47% or 22.5 points to trade at 671.0 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (CO:DSV) added 1.60% or 6.2 points to end at 394.7 and Nets A/S (CO:NETS) was up 1.36% or 1.80 points to 134.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which fell 0.43% or 50 points to trade at 11700 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 0.33% or 2.0 points to end at 603.5 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 0.32% or 40 points to 12300.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 37 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (CO:DSV) rose to all time highs; rising 1.60% or 6.2 to 394.7.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.19% or 1.08 to $50.43 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 2.19% or 1.15 to hit $53.66 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.60 to trade at $1251.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.74% to 6.6523, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4429.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.61% at 97.17.
