Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Goods and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.66% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 3.48% or 400 points to trade at 11910 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 3.05% or 340 points to end at 11500 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 2.43% or 9.20 points to 388.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 0.73% or 2.9 points to trade at 392.0 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 0.69% or 0.60 points to end at 85.80 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 0.55% or 2.0 points to 360.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 61 to 52 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) rose to all time highs; rising 2.43% or 9.20 to 388.00.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.20% or 0.10 to $51.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.23% or 0.13 to hit $56.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 6.35 to trade at $1287.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 6.2860, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4438.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 92.93.
