Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 1.48% or 13.00 points to trade at 888.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 1.40% or 2.74 points to end at 197.90 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was up 1.36% or 25.00 points to 1,869.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 3.35% or 440.00 points to trade at 12,680.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 2.81% or 360.00 points to end at 12,460.00 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 1.45% or 2.50 points to 170.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 64 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.00% or 0.77 to $76.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.67% or 0.55 to hit $81.88 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.20 to trade at $2,017.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 6.86, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 103.16.
