Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.65% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.43% or 27.5 points to trade at 1161.0 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 1.52% or 4.8 points to end at 319.6 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 1.49% or 7.10 points to 483.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 1.61% or 142 points to trade at 8698 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.14% or 6.2 points to end at 539.8 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was down 0.95% or 3.0 points to 313.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 53 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.24% or 1.28 to $55.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.02% or 1.34 to hit $64.97 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.36% or 17.95 to trade at $1298.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.06% to 6.5650, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4628.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 96.375.
