Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.70% or 6.6 points to trade at 393.7 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.40% or 170 points to end at 12290 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.09% or 0.90 points to 83.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 0.93% or 3.5 points to trade at 374.0 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 0.76% or 11.0 points to end at 1429.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 0.28% or 1.1 points to 386.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 44 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.09% or 0.04 to $46.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.74% or 0.38 to hit $51.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 3.62 to trade at $1315.28 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.40% to 6.2389, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4391.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 92.62.
