Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 1.80% or 13.40 points to trade at 758.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 0.40% or 3.60 points to end at 894.20 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 1,483.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 3.84% or 15.10 points to trade at 378.50 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 3.32% or 3.50 points to end at 100.60 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was down 2.61% or 78.00 points to 2,912.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 96 to 37 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.64% or 0.44 to $69.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.57% or 0.41 to hit $72.89 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 11.24 to trade at $2,653.84 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 7.12, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 107.00.
