Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 3.34% or 28.00 points to trade at 865.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 1.86% or 18.50 points to end at 1,013.50 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 1.82% or 2.20 points to 123.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which fell 5.32% or 640.00 points to trade at 11,380.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 5.16% or 635.00 points to end at 11,680.00 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was down 2.95% or 11.80 points to 387.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 66 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.59% or 0.49 to $82.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.44% or 0.38 to hit $86.16 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.86% or 20.65 to trade at $2,377.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.08% to 6.89, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 104.59.
