Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.63% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.91% or 595.00 points to trade at 15,820.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 3.56% or 520.00 points to end at 15,140.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was up 1.90% or 7.60 points to 408.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 2.81% or 4.65 points to trade at 160.60 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) declined 1.75% or 11.00 points to end at 618.70 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 1.61% or 6.50 points to 397.90.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 62 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.65% or 1.45 to $86.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.23% or 1.15 to hit $92.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 4.35 to trade at $1,640.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.85% to 7.53, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.05% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.74% at 111.42.
