Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.62% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 3.29% or 10.3 points to trade at 322.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 1.58% or 4.8 points to end at 308.3 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 1.51% or 4.7 points to 316.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV (CO:DSV), which fell 0.96% or 5.4 points to trade at 554.6 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 0.59% or 1.20 points to end at 200.90 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was down 0.43% or 2.20 points to 507.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 53 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.67% or 1.52 to $58.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.50% or 1.00 to hit $67.67 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.89% or 11.55 to trade at $1309.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.14% to 6.5986, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4607.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 96.680.
