Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 2.42% or 7.4 points to trade at 313.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.65% or 8.4 points to end at 516.4 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 1.58% or 7.5 points to 480.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which fell 1.58% or 6.2 points to trade at 385.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.16% or 5.0 points to end at 425.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was down 0.30% or 30 points to 10020.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 39 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.26% or 0.16 to $60.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.59% or 0.38 to hit $63.98 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 5.30 to trade at $1352.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.12% to 5.9775, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4493.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 88.84.
