Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.61% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 4.36% or 13.9 points to trade at 333.0 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 3.84% or 700 points to end at 18940 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 3.74% or 6.7 points to 186.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which fell 4.02% or 11.2 points to trade at 267.7 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 1.42% or 12.0 points to end at 834.4 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was down 1.34% or 10.6 points to 777.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 74 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) rose to 5-year highs; rising 3.84% or 700 to 18940.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.76% or 0.64 to $83.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.39% or 0.33 to hit $84.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 5.35 to trade at $1790.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.17% to 6.4191, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4398.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 94.013.
