Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 4.49% or 17.40 points to trade at 405.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 1.23% or 10.70 points to end at 880.00 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 0.79% or 1.60 points to 203.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 5.11% or 6.00 points to trade at 111.50 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 3.80% or 12.60 points to end at 319.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 3.05% or 33.50 points to 1,063.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 59 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.83% or 1.56 to $86.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.64% or 1.47 to hit $91.21 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.62% or 38.55 to trade at $2,411.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.81% to 7.01, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.67% at 105.77.
