Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.59%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 6.07% or 10.00 points to trade at 174.70 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) added 3.43% or 36.00 points to end at 1,087.00 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was up 2.32% or 8.30 points to 365.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which fell 3.85% or 4.50 points to trade at 112.30 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) declined 1.33% or 4.60 points to end at 342.50 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 1.24% or 2.60 points to 206.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 70 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.84% or 1.52 to $81.21 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.59% or 1.39 to hit $85.99 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.45 to trade at $2,160.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.07% to 6.87, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 103.61.
