Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.59% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 4.84% or 38.80 points to trade at 840.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 2.51% or 18.0 points to end at 735.4 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 1.65% or 6.1 points to 376.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 4.35% or 4.65 points to trade at 102.35 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 3.26% or 12.8 points to end at 380.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) was down 1.32% or 3.4 points to 254.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 63 and 17 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.71% or 0.29 to $40.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.53% or 0.23 to hit $43.31 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 12.75 to trade at $1822.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.63% to 6.5670, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4489.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 96.398.
