Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 5.92% or 111.00 points to trade at 1,986.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Netcompany Group (CSE:NETCG) added 4.91% or 17.20 points to end at 367.60 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 4.52% or 3.08 points to 71.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which fell 3.42% or 580.00 points to trade at 16,360.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 3.34% or 570.00 points to end at 16,510.00 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was down 1.53% or 3.40 points to 218.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 89 to 61 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 5.84% or 6.87 to $110.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 4.95% or 5.93 to hit $113.88 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 3.90 to trade at $1,846.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.80% to 7.11, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.20% at 104.66.
