Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.58% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 5.77% or 522 points to trade at 9570 at the close. Meanwhile, Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) added 3.01% or 20.0 points to end at 685.0 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was up 2.49% or 4.7 points to 191.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 1.12% or 1.70 points to trade at 150.60 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 1.04% or 2.9 points to end at 276.0 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 0.94% or 1.1 points to 121.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 67 to 61 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) rose to 5-year highs; rising 3.01% or 20.0 to 685.0.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.99% or 1.13 to $57.90 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.06% or 1.28 to hit $63.56 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.38% or 5.55 to trade at $1467.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 6.7615, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4722.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 97.870.
