Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Software & Computer Services and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN), which rose 3.73% or 8.8 points to trade at 245.0 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 2.71% or 7.6 points to end at 288.2 and DSV (CSE:DSV) was up 2.49% or 16.2 points to 666.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which fell 2.27% or 4.4 points to trade at 189.2 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 1.31% or 7.0 points to end at 528.6 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was down 0.75% or 7.4 points to 985.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 65 to 56 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (CSE:DSV) rose to all time highs; rising 2.49% or 16.2 to 666.6.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.39% or 0.21 to $53.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $58.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.04% or 16.05 to trade at $1553.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 6.7232, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4574.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 97.903.
