Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 3.02% or 17.20 points to trade at 587.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) added 1.67% or 3.6 points to end at 219.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 1.66% or 14.6 points to 892.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS), which fell 1.67% or 5.0 points to trade at 295.0 at the close. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 1.55% or 1.7 points to end at 107.8 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 0.84% or 68 points to 8000.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 57 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 3.62% or 2.14 to $56.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 3.09% or 2.01 to hit $63.05 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.33% or 18.50 to trade at $1407.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.19% to 6.6010, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4638.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 96.180.
