Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 6.56% or 6.5 points to trade at 106.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GEN) added 5.09% or 58.5 points to end at 1207.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) was up 3.70% or 10.6 points to 296.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which fell 1.25% or 7.8 points to trade at 616.4 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 1.25% or 7.2 points to end at 567.0 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 0.74% or 1.6 points to 213.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 45 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.02% or 0.01 to $59.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.08% or 0.05 to hit $65.72 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.25 to trade at $1414.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.01% to 6.5638, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4637.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 95.715.
