Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 5.30% or 10.4 points to trade at 207.8 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 2.98% or 325 points to end at 11230 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 2.27% or 10.6 points to 476.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW), which fell 2.89% or 21 points to trade at 691 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) declined 1.89% or 11.4 points to end at 590.6 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 0.93% or 2.1 points to 224.8.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 64 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.98% or 325 to 11230.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.52% or 0.63 to $42.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.32% or 0.58 to hit $44.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.09% or 20.25 to trade at $1881.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.3087, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4466.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 92.948.
