Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 4.73% or 8.0 points to trade at 177.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 3.10% or 31.5 points to end at 1048.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 1.80% or 5.7 points to 322.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which fell 0.82% or 3.40 points to trade at 412.00 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb) declined 0.55% or 1.6 points to end at 298.5 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 0.30% or 28 points to 9266.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 80 to 41 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.38% or 0.27 to $70.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.76% or 0.60 to hit $78.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.40 to trade at $1209.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.71% to 6.3462, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4591.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.50% at 93.65.
