Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.55%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 1.71% or 10.2 points to trade at 606.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.54% or 8.0 points to end at 527.6 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 1.44% or 6.7 points to 472.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which fell 1.27% or 5.6 points to trade at 434.3 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 1.19% or 8.6 points to end at 715.2 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 0.87% or 3.4 points to 385.3.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 58 to 48 and 29 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.52% or 0.32 to $61.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.51% or 0.33 to hit $65.22 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.61% or 8.10 to trade at $1317.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.39% to 6.0472, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4483.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 90.05.
