Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.52% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 3.48% or 20.5 points to trade at 610.0 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 3.01% or 350 points to end at 11980 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 2.99% or 360 points to 12390 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CO:GEN), which fell 1.23% or 16.0 points to trade at 1281.0 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 0.58% or 0.45 points to end at 77.30 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 0.48% or 3.5 points to 727.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 49 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.24% or 0.13 to $54.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.23% or 0.14 to hit $60.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 6.03 to trade at $1277.83 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.3973, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4414.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 94.48.
