Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 3.63% or 18.5 points to trade at 527.5 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 2.49% or 270 points to end at 11120 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 2.45% or 14.0 points to 586.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 7.31% or 27.3 points to trade at 346.4 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 5.27% or 14.10 points to end at 253.20 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 1.96% or 6.9 points to 345.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 59 to 56 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.05% or 0.60 to $57.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.27% or 0.81 to hit $64.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 10.29 to trade at $1286.09 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.02% to 6.4226, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4440.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 94.78.
