Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Real Estate and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 3.15% or 440.00 points to trade at 14,400.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 3.10% or 420.00 points to end at 13,960.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was up 1.42% or 12.60 points to 897.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which fell 3.05% or 19.90 points to trade at 632.20 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 2.89% or 4.50 points to end at 151.30 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) was down 1.60% or 3.15 points to 193.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 67 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.05% or 19.90 to 632.20. Shares in GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) fell to 5-year lows; losing 2.89% or 4.50 to 151.30. Shares in Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.60% or 3.15 to 193.30.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.54% or 1.95 to $78.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.58% or 2.14 to hit $85.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 7.50 to trade at $1,640.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.11% to 7.73, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 113.88.
