Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.49% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 5.14% or 96.50 points to trade at 1,974.00 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) added 4.35% or 7.65 points to end at 183.40 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was up 2.18% or 2.55 points to 119.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 0.10% or 0.20 points to trade at 194.20 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 0.19% or 1.60 points to end at 848.50 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was up 0.34% or 1.80 points to 525.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 93 to 50 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) rose to all time highs; rising 0.19% or 1.60 to 848.50. Shares in Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.18% or 2.55 to 119.30.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.51% or 1.16 to $77.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.30% or 1.06 to hit $82.66 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.33% or 6.70 to trade at $2,011.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.25% to 6.93, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 104.37.
