Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.49%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 5.14% or 31.00 points to trade at 634.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 4.80% or 570.00 points to end at 12,450.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 4.64% or 560.00 points to 12,625.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 5.01% or 28.80 points to trade at 546.40 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 2.46% or 5.10 points to end at 202.10 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was down 0.74% or 4.40 points to 590.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 67 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.63% or 1.18 to $71.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.34% or 1.03 to hit $75.92 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.18% or 23.15 to trade at $1,981.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.71% to 6.91, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.69% at 103.34.
