Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Personal & Household Goods and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.49% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which rose 3.33% or 7.0 points to trade at 217.2 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (CSE:DSV) added 3.24% or 24.2 points to end at 772.0 and Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) was up 2.28% or 16.00 points to 716.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 1.18% or 12.5 points to trade at 1044.5 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 1.07% or 92 points to end at 8500 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH) was down 0.85% or 4.4 points to 513.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 54 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (CSE:DSV) rose to all time highs; up 3.24% or 24.2 to 772.0. Shares in Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) rose to all time highs; up 2.28% or 16.00 to 716.40.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.60% or 1.52 to $56.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 2.12% or 1.37 to hit $63.22 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.55 to trade at $1557.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.00% to 6.7413, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4727.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 97.345.
