Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.47% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 2.14% or 5.5 points to trade at 262.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 2.11% or 10.80 points to end at 523.80 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.46% or 8.2 points to 568.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 1.57% or 10.8 points to trade at 677.2 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) declined 1.34% or 7.6 points to end at 560.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 1.31% or 4.2 points to 315.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 63 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) rose to all time highs; up 2.11% or 10.80 to 523.80. Shares in Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.46% or 8.2 to 568.2.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.82% or 0.48 to $59.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.46% or 0.31 to hit $67.47 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.25 to trade at $1302.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.05% to 6.5858, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4627.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 96.040.
