Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Industrials and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 5.78% or 27.3 points to trade at 500.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 3.57% or 9.2 points to end at 266.6 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 2.74% or 7.5 points to 281.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which fell 1.66% or 2.4 points to trade at 142.1 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 1.03% or 6.4 points to end at 615.8 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb) was down 0.47% or 1.4 points to 307.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 44 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.56% or 0.29 to $51.82 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.07% or 0.04 to hit $60.68 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 5.85 to trade at $1294.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.5467, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4640.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 95.678.
