Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 1.70% or 3.7 points to trade at 221.1 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 0.79% or 79 points to end at 10035 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 0.59% or 2.2 points to 373.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which fell 1.72% or 7.00 points to trade at 400.10 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 1.28% or 16.0 points to end at 1236.0 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was down 0.88% or 0.56 points to 63.06.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 58 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.28% or 0.88 to $67.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.51% or 1.13 to hit $73.56 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.90% or 11.90 to trade at $1307.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.59% to 6.2052, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.60% at 92.18.
