Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.46% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 8.87% or 28.30 points to trade at 347.40 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 3.00% or 375.00 points to end at 12,890.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 2.26% or 280.00 points to 12,670.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE), which fell 2.36% or 4.70 points to trade at 194.70 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 1.80% or 6.50 points to end at 354.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was down 1.06% or 13.00 points to 1,211.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 63 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 8.87% or 28.30 to 347.40.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.77% or 0.56 to $73.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.78% or 0.61 to hit $78.60 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 10.35 to trade at $2,053.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.02% to 6.94, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 104.12.
