Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 2.32% or 61.00 points to trade at 2,686.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 1.01% or 1.65 points to end at 165.50 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 0.81% or 8.60 points to 1,072.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 2.17% or 3.60 points to trade at 162.30 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 1.78% or 18.50 points to end at 1,018.50 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 1.61% or 10.80 points to 658.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 58 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.90% or 0.68 to $74.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.95% or 0.76 to hit $79.11 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.38% or 7.45 to trade at $1,956.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.05% to 6.63, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 99.57.
