Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN), which rose 2.75% or 6.3 points to trade at 235.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 1.51% or 8.4 points to end at 564.2 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 1.40% or 1.3 points to 96.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which fell 1.71% or 3.00 points to trade at 172.00 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) declined 1.56% or 4.8 points to end at 302.4 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was down 1.28% or 3.8 points to 293.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 63 to 54 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.19% or 0.69 to $58.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.93% or 1.23 to hit $64.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 8.95 to trade at $1506.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.10% to 6.7629, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4672.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 97.988.
