Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 3.57% or 9.1 points to trade at 264.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GEN) added 2.61% or 31.0 points to end at 1219.5 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 1.31% or 102 points to 7884 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 0.53% or 4.8 points to trade at 896.0 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 0.50% or 4.0 points to end at 789.2 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 0.46% or 1.0 points to 218.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 52 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.32% or 0.19 to $59.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.05% or 0.03 to hit $66.45 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 4.20 to trade at $1409.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.36% to 6.6569, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4671.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 96.938.
