Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which rose 4.26% or 5.3 points to trade at 130.9 at the close. Meanwhile, ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 3.15% or 6.60 points to end at 216.10 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 2.72% or 14.8 points to 559.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which fell 2.27% or 2.5 points to trade at 107.8 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.66% or 1.7 points to end at 255.3 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 0.25% or 1.8 points to 708.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 49 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.27% or 2.5 to 107.8. Shares in Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) fell to 5-year lows; falling 0.66% or 1.7 to 255.3.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.41% or 0.86 to $61.90 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.65% or 1.16 to hit $71.39 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 5.65 to trade at $1296.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.6608, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4689.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 97.287.
