Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Industrials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 2.04% or 196 points to trade at 9800 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.94% or 175 points to end at 9190 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 1.05% or 5.4 points to 519.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 1.50% or 5.3 points to trade at 348.1 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 1.05% or 0.66 points to end at 62.00 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was down 0.70% or 2.60 points to 367.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 52 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.30% or 0.20 to $66.56 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.66% or 0.50 to hit $76.38 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.80 to trade at $1302.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.37% to 6.3202, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4498.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 93.58.
