Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.44% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 1.68% or 6.6 points to trade at 400.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 1.65% or 4.0 points to end at 246.8 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 1.61% or 6.4 points to 404.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 2.02% or 260 points to trade at 12620 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.55% or 190 points to end at 12040 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was down 0.48% or 0.40 points to 83.65.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 53 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.61% or 6.4 to 404.3.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.21% or 0.10 to $47.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.44% or 0.23 to hit $52.63 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 6.45 to trade at $1328.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.2629, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4371.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 92.70.
