Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Financials and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb), which rose 1.13% or 4.4 points to trade at 393.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) added 1.03% or 0.85 points to end at 83.70 and Genmab (COP:GEN) was up 1.02% or 6.5 points to 646.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (COP:GN), which fell 3.74% or 5.4 points to trade at 139.0 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) declined 1.06% or 120 points to end at 11150 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) was down 1.04% or 120 points to 11400.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 77 and 2 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.58% or 0.75 to $48.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.40% or 0.21 to hit $53.69 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.18% or 2.00 to trade at $1094.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.32% to 6.7514, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4618.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 96.78.
