Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which rose 1.91% or 11.50 points to trade at 614.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 1.86% or 38.00 points to end at 2,086.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.72% or 18.50 points to 1,093.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 3.72% or 6.95 points to trade at 179.70 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) declined 3.32% or 13.10 points to end at 381.80 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was down 3.32% or 6.15 points to 178.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 67 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) rose to all time highs; up 1.91% or 11.50 to 614.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.20% or 0.17 to $85.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.11% or 0.10 to hit $89.32 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 5.65 to trade at $2,356.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.08% to 6.94, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.00% at 104.96.
