Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.94% or 7.0 points to trade at 367.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 1.65% or 5.2 points to end at 320.5 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 1.61% or 10.0 points to 631.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 0.93% or 110 points to trade at 11760 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 0.61% or 70 points to end at 11360 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was down 0.55% or 2.3 points to 417.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 52 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.65% or 5.2 to 320.5.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.16% or 1.08 to $50.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.23% or 1.23 to hit $56.37 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 5.63 to trade at $1316.23 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.06% to 6.2004, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4417.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 91.50.
