Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 2.14% or 2.4 points to trade at 114.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) added 1.76% or 17.6 points to end at 1015.0 and DSV (CSE:DSV) was up 1.69% or 10.8 points to 650.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which fell 3.11% or 5.7 points to trade at 177.3 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) declined 1.46% or 3.4 points to end at 228.8 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 0.38% or 0.4 points to 94.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 59 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:DEMANT) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.11% or 5.7 to 177.3. Shares in Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN) fell to 52-week lows; falling 1.46% or 3.4 to 228.8.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.78% or 0.44 to $56.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.29% or 0.18 to hit $62.21 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 2.05 to trade at $1514.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 6.8293, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4662.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 98.732.
