Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.43% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 2.73% or 8.1 points to trade at 305.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) added 1.36% or 2.1 points to end at 156.3 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 0.92% or 4.50 points to 491.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were DSV (CO:DSV), which fell 0.75% or 4.2 points to trade at 555.4 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 0.58% or 1.20 points to end at 205.00 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was down 0.17% or 2.0 points to 1178.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 68 to 62 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) rose to all time highs; rising 0.92% or 4.50 to 491.60.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.05% or 0.03 to $56.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.38% or 0.25 to hit $65.92 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.35 to trade at $1287.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.5987, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4611.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 96.757.
