Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK), which rose 2.34% or 8.1 points to trade at 354.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb) added 1.98% or 9.5 points to end at 490.0 and Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) was up 1.23% or 4.3 points to 354.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb), which fell 1.00% or 6.0 points to trade at 592.0 at the close. TDC A/S (COP:TDC) declined 0.87% or 0.45 points to end at 51.25 and GN Store Nord (COP:GN) was down 0.50% or 0.7 points to 138.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 61 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) rose to 5-year highs; up 2.34% or 8.1 to 354.8.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.81% or 0.88 to $47.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.23% or 0.66 to hit $52.66 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.60% or 6.50 to trade at $1095.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.87% to 6.7651, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4623.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.64% at 96.99.
