Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.42% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:CHRH), which rose 4.95% or 26.2 points to trade at 555.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) added 4.94% or 17.6 points to end at 374.2 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 3.12% or 28.6 points to 944.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 4.64% or 665 points to trade at 13670 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 2.82% or 3.2 points to end at 110.2 and Simcorp A/S (CSE:SIM) was down 1.07% or 9.0 points to 836.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 99 to 40 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.29% or 0.15 to $52.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.29% or 0.16 to hit $55.41 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 2.65 to trade at $1853.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.41% to 6.1367, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4395.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 90.448.
