Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.42%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 2.84% or 7.1 points to trade at 257.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 2.16% or 6.6 points to end at 311.6 and William Demant Holding A/S (CO:DEMANT) was up 1.97% or 3.8 points to 196.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which fell 1.70% or 5.3 points to trade at 306.0 at the close. Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) declined 0.98% or 5.00 points to end at 504.40 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was down 0.90% or 10.5 points to 1155.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 56 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.52% or 0.90 to $60.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.88% or 0.59 to hit $67.69 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.75 to trade at $1298.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.03% to 6.6537, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4648.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 96.833.
