Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 5.45% or 48.50 points to trade at 938.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) added 2.16% or 18.00 points to end at 850.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) was up 1.93% or 10.50 points to 555.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 1.54% or 15.40 points to trade at 982.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 1.10% or 140.00 points to end at 12,610.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was down 1.07% or 140.00 points to 12,985.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 57 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) rose to all time highs; gaining 5.45% or 48.50 to 938.50.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.08% or 0.07 to $83.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.18% or 0.16 to hit $87.50 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.95 to trade at $2,367.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.90, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 104.81.
