Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 2.29% or 4.1 points to trade at 183.1 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (CO:DSV) added 1.58% or 9.0 points to end at 578.2 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 0.93% or 2.9 points to 314.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 3.74% or 16.5 points to trade at 424.5 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 1.89% or 7.7 points to end at 399.3 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 1.60% or 140 points to 8620.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 61 to 58 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSV (CO:DSV) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.58% or 9.0 to 578.2. Shares in GN Store Nord (CO:GN) rose to all time highs; gaining 0.93% or 2.9 to 314.4.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.07% or 0.74 to $68.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.57% or 0.42 to hit $73.03 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 6.10 to trade at $1226.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.07% to 6.4283, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4533.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 94.84.
