Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.39%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which rose 1.26% or 16.5 points to trade at 1323.5 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (CSE:DSV) added 1.24% or 7.6 points to end at 622.4 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) was up 1.00% or 2.7 points to 271.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS), which fell 2.48% or 6.6 points to trade at 259.3 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 2.21% or 2.1 points to end at 92.1 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was down 2.06% or 5.6 points to 265.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 47 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.12% or 0.59 to $52.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.61% or 0.35 to hit $57.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 5.95 to trade at $1513.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.7974, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4661.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 98.438.
